For so long as a little girl, my way of processing my deep feelings was to read and write. I would write poems and write in my journal to navigate my inner world.

My writing was my first tool for emotional healing through my childhood trauma.

It was my way out, and a temporary pause from the madness.

Writing and reading are portals into the subconscious. They are bridges that connect us heart to heart. It helps us to understand new perspectives and to know we are not alone.

As a Latina woman, I knew that one day I wanted to write a book - not only because I had this book in my soul but also to model to other Latinx and POC that it’s possible to land a book deal.

And as the more of us share our unique soul medicine and voices the more empowered we become.

Fast forward from that little girl writing poems in her room to a woman landing her first 6 figure book deal with a top publishing house (Penguin random House - Tarcher perigee)

My dream became a reality!

I Am Diosa: A Journey to Healing Deep, Loving Yourself, and Coming Back Home to Soul was born from my own life story, my clinical training and spiritual training, and my deep desire to help as many women, particularly Latinx and women of color to heal deep and know that they aren’t alone.

I wanted them to feel the resonance.

At the time, I remember going to my favorite section in Barnes and Noble - the spiritual personal development section and finding no books by Latina spiritual authors.

I soaked up what I could find anyway and learned a ton and for that, I am so grateful but still, my soul sought more, I wanted voices that resonated with me, my culture, my story.

Since I didn’t find it - I became it.

Do you have words and stories inside you that you are feeling your spirit call you to write?

I believe each book has a soul. I believe we are called to write.

I believe spirit downloaded ideas into us for the higher mission of that work to spread hear on earth, for all our stories our soul medicine walking one another back home to ourselves!

I have been coaching entrepreneurs, changemakers, spiritual coaches, therapists, and healers for over 10 years now and it is a deep soul passion of mine.

In this next season of my life, I am here to be the bridge.

I am here to share my resources, my years of training, knowledge, insider knowledge, contacts, and coaching for you to make this process easy.

This process takes years of networking, work, and information. Sometimes it can be daunting.

That is why I wanted to make this process easy for you and give you the real deal behind the scenes look at my actual book proposal, give you a skeleton of how to write a winning proposal, the things you would be surprised you don’t need to do, and the things you need to do to get a book deal and all the details from start to finish.

I will also only take on clients that I believe are ready to birth their soul book so that I can introduce you to my actual book agent.

How I flow in this container:

In this container, we flow with life and the speed and flow of both your life and mine and the soul of the book that might mean that we do some sessions via voice notes back and forth or emails instead of a call because it works out better creatively or we flesh out the edits of the book on the back end we me like a ghostwriter in our Google document - channeling and strategizing what you need to add/edit or pivot to.

Also introduction to book agent happens when the project is fit and completed and he approves and gives the final yes. Lastly, it says 3 months but it might take a year and then you end up using the calls once an agent gives feedback or we use them to complete your proposal because that’s what the soul of your project needs.

In this container, we flow with the creative muse and a nonlinear approach to working. Think of it as a hook-up into a world you would not other wise probably have access to in this way like a gift from a mentor. It’s all over and unique for each person but it’s strategic and special and works.

Before I met Christine, I didn’t know how truly important it was to have a literary agent to advocate for you. I had self-published before, butI had never written a book proposal. Having Christine’s actual book proposal that landed her a successful book deal helped me feel confident while writing my own book proposal. I’m so grateful that she shared this document with me and connected me with her agent. I finished my proposal and my new literary agent has begun pitching to publishers. I had no idea what the process of becoming a published author looked like before. Now, I’m so excited to be where I am!
